In celebration of Earth Day, Stephen Gould, an American-made packaging and product design partner, announces a new partnership with nonprofit One Tree Planted. This is part of Stephen Gould’s overall commitment to advancing its sustainability efforts.
Each year through this partnership, Stephen Gould will work with One Tree Planted to have a tree planted for each of its team members throughout the company. This will equate to 1,000 trees planted in 2023. This year’s plantings will target areas that support post-natural disaster reforestation efforts in California and Texas.
“We are excited to be working with Stephen Gould and look forward to all the great work we will be able to do as a result of this partnership,” said Ashley Lamontagne, Forest Campaign Manager at One Tree Planted. “The trees we plant together will have positive impacts on nature, biodiversity and people for years to come.”
Outside of this new partnership, Stephen Gould has made strides in the sustainability space by developing greener solutions for its customers. For one tech client valued at $100 billion, Stephen Gould introduced new electronic component packaging that reduced the tech giant’s carbon footprint by over 75% while also saving the company money. And through its innovative approach to finding an eco-friendly packaging option for Burt’s Bees, Stephen Gould introduced the natural skincare company to a new type of potato starch-based paper foam that is recyclable, compostable and edible. This sustainable option was the perfect solution for Burt’s Bees and enabled the company to achieve its ‘True to Nature’ mission.
