Elevating Retail Experiences with Altra Running’s Custom Display

Our collaboration with Altra Running, facilitated by Jack Wittenborn from our Colorado location and George Valvanis from our New England location, turned out to be an incredible success. The project began with designer AJ Ferraz’s diligent work from the Pittsburgh Design Center in our Wexford, PA location. We swiftly moved to get this display into the market starting with initial calls, we honed AJ’s designs and started the quoting process. We navigated the intricacies of CAD files and prototyping, conducting four rounds of prototyping with different color grades.

The final display’s design incorporates a versatile wavy section that allowed the shoe to be positioned in almost any orientation. We utilized an acrylic base, featuring embossed acrylic lettering and a captivating LED backlight that provided a high-end look.

Additionally, we added a removable card slot, enhancing the display’s longevity and adaptability for various launches. The feedback from the marketplace and Altra’s sales team has been overwhelmingly positive, prompting us to print more place cards for upcoming shoe launches.

Throughout this journey, we stayed true to Stephen Gould’s core capabilities—design, manufacturing, production, and fulfillment—delivering a product that exceeded expectations and showcased our comprehensive service offering. The longevity and versatility of the display have been key selling points, and we continue to receive positive feedback, positioning us strongly for future opportunities.
